Picker / Packer

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect automobile spare parts and materials.

Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing stock.

Issue spare parts, tools, oils, filters, and other materials to technicians.

Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and prepare purchase requests when required.

Organize spare parts in the store for easy identification and retrieval.

Check part numbers, quantities, and specifications before issuing materials.

Conduct regular physical stock counting and reconcile discrepancies.

Maintain inventory records using Excel, ERP, or inventory-management software.

Coordinate with purchase, service, workshop, and accounts departments.

Ensure proper storage and safety of parts and materials.

Prepare daily/monthly stock reports.

Monitor slow-moving, damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory.

Follow company procedures for stock control, documentation, and safety.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of automobile spare parts and workshop materials.

Inventory and stock-management skills.

Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel.

Good record-keeping and organizational skills.

Ability to identify parts by name, part number, and vehicle model.

Good communication and teamwork.Attention to detail.

Typical Qualification:

10th/12th pass or ITI/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical field.

Experience in an automobile workshop, dealership, or spare-parts store is an advantage.
