Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Structural Designer to join our structural engineering consultancy in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will assist in analysis, design, and drafting for various residential, commercial, and industrial projects while working closely with senior structural engineers.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesModel, analyze, and design structural elements (RCC and steel structures) using ETABS and STAAD.Pro.
  • Perform concrete component design and detailing using STAAD RCDC.
  • Design foundations (isolated, combined, and raft) and slab systems using SAFE.
  • Prepare and review structural layout drawings, column/beam details, and foundation plans in AutoCAD 2D.
  • Coordinate with site execution teams and architects to clarify structural details.
  • Assist senior engineers in preparing structural design calculations, reports, and bill of quantities (BOQ).
  • Key Qualifications & SkillsEducation: B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Software Proficiency (Required): ETABS, STAAD.Pro, RCDC, SAFE, and AutoCAD 2D.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in IS Codes (IS 456, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 875, IS 800).
  • Good understanding of structural behavior, load paths, and reinforcement detailing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to drafting accuracy.
