Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Ice Cream Maker to prepare and produce high-quality ice creams, gelatos, and other frozen desserts while maintaining excellent taste, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in food preparation, good hygiene practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities :

·        Prepare and produce ice creams, gelatos, sorbets, and other frozen desserts according to company recipes and standards.

·        Scaling and mix ingredients accurately to maintain consistent taste, texture, and quality.

·        Operate ice cream machines, freezers, mixers, and other production equipment safely and efficiently.

·        Prepare different flavours, bases, sauces, toppings, and mix-ins as required.

·        Ensure proper storage and temperature control of ice cream and ingredients.

·        Maintain consistency in product quality, texture, portion size, and presentation.

·        Follow standard recipes, production procedures, and company SOPs.

·        Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the production area, equipment, utensils, and storage areas.

·        Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

·        Monitor ingredient stock levels and inform the supervisor about replenishment requirements.

·        Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.

·        Assist with daily preparation, production planning, and inventory management.

·        Minimize food wastage and ensure proper handling of ingredients.

·        Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment checks.

·        Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements :

·        0–3 years of experience as an Ice Cream Maker, Gelato Maker, Pastry Assistant, Commis, or in a similar food production role.

·        Basic knowledge of ice cream, gelato, or frozen dessert preparation.

·        Ability to follow recipes and accurately measure ingredients.

·        Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

·        Ability to operate kitchen and ice cream production equipment safely.

·        Strong attention to detail and consistency.

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and under pressure.

·        Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

·        Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications :

·        Experience in ice cream, gelato, dessert, bakery, or pastry production.

·        Knowledge of different ice cream flavours, ingredients, and preparation techniques.

·        Basic understanding of temperature control, freezing, and storage of frozen products.

·        Food safety and hygiene certification is an added advantage.
