Kannada Teacher

Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified and dedicated Kannada Teacher to teach Kannada language and literature to school students. The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and comprehension skills while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver Kannada lessons according to the school curriculum.
• Teach Kannada grammar, vocabulary, prose, poetry, and literature.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, classroom activities, and teaching materials.
• Conduct class tests, assignments, examinations, and oral assessments.
• Evaluate students’ performance and maintain academic records.
• Provide additional support to students who need improvement.
• Encourage students to participate in Kannada debates, essay writing, storytelling, and cultural activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, training programmes, and school events.
• Communicate students’ academic progress to parents and school management.
• Complete the syllabus within the prescribed academic schedule.
• Perform other academic responsibilities assigned by the management.
• Educational QualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kannada.
• B.Ed. qualification is preferred or mandatory as per school requirements.
• Candidates with relevant teaching certifications will be preferred.
• ExperienceMinimum 1–3 years of Kannada teaching experience in a recognised school.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching skills may also apply.
• Required SkillsExcellent command of written and spoken Kannada.
• Good understanding of Kannada grammar and literature.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare creative and student-friendly lessons.
• Basic computer and digital teaching skills.
• Patience, confidence, and a passion for teaching.
• Preferred CandidateExperience teaching CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or other recognised curricula.
• Ability to communicate in English will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to participate in school activities and cultural programmes.

SalarySalary will be based on qualification, experience, teaching skills, and institutional standards.
