Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials by checking sales reports as well as requests from sales personnel.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and maintain supplier databases and establish strong vendor relationships.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, pricing, and new product developments.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procedures and legal regulations.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage retail warranty claims, maintain records of dispatched items, and provide timely responses to related concerns.
