Job Description
- Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesGuest ServiceWelcome and greet guests professionally.
- Assist with show timings, seating, tickets and cinema facilities.
- Handle guest queries and basic complaints.
- Ensure a positive guest experience from entry to exit.
- Box Office / TicketingAssist with ticket booking and ticket-related queries.
- Operate POS/ticketing systems accurately.
- Handle cash and digital transactions as assigned.
- Maintain accuracy and avoid cash/sales variance.
- Food & Beverage (F&B)Prepare and serve popcorn, snacks and beverages.
- Operate POS and handle billing.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
- Practice suggestive selling and upselling of combos and products.
- Auditorium / UsheringCheck tickets and guide guests to the correct screen and seats.
- Ensure auditorium readiness before shows.
- Assist guests during entry and exit.
- Monitor basic guest discipline and report issues.
- Cleanliness & HygieneMaintain cleanliness of lobby, auditorium and service areas.
- Coordinate with housekeeping when required.
- Report cleanliness, maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Safety & SecurityFollow PVR INOX safety and emergency SOPs.
- Support crowd management.
- Monitor entrances/exits and report suspicious or unsafe situations.
- Assist guests during emergency situations as instructed.
- Sales & RevenueAchieve assigned F&B/service sales targets.
- Promote combos, offers and other products.
- Maintain correct billing and cash-handling procedures.
- Support revenue generation through effective upselling.
- Teamwork & OperationsCoordinate with Duty Officer, Duty Manager and other departments.
- Support other operational areas during peak hours.
- Attend briefings and training sessions.
- Follow grooming, attendance and operational SOPs.
