Job Title: Specification Manager – Plumbing Solutions

Job Summary

The Specification Manager – Plumbing Solutions is responsible for promoting the company's plumbing products and ensuring they are specified in residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The role involves building strong relationships with architects, MEP consultants, plumbing consultants, developers, contractors, and government authorities to influence product selection during the design stage.

Key Responsibilities

Develop relationships with architects, MEP consultants, plumbing consultants, builders, developers, and contractors.

Promote plumbing products such as pipes, fittings, valves, drainage systems, water supply systems, CPVC, UPVC, HDPE, PPR, and sanitary solutions.

Ensure the company's products are specified in upcoming construction projects.

Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for consultants and project stakeholders.

Provide technical support regarding plumbing system design, product selection, and installation best practices.

Track project specifications from design through execution and hand over qualified leads to the sales team.

Coordinate with sales, technical, and marketing teams to convert specifications into business.

Monitor market trends, competitor products, and upcoming construction projects.

Maintain accurate records of project pipelines, consultant interactions, and specification wins.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Plumbing Engineering.

3–8 years of experience in specification sales within the plumbing, pipes, sanitary ware, or building materials industry.

Knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, and relevant building codes.

Required Skills
