Warehouse Executive

Job Summary We are looking for a responsible, organized, and experienced Warehouse In-Charge to manage the complete day-to-day operations of our warehouse in Bangalore. The person will be responsible for stock and inventory management, order picking and packing, warehouse organization, team supervision, employee attendance, logistics coordination, dispatch operations, and reporting to management. The ideal candidate should have strong team-handling skills, good knowledge of warehouse operations, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities 1. Stock & Inventory Management • • • • • • • • Manage daily inward and outward stock movements. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accuracy. Conduct regular physical stock verification. Identify and resolve stock discrepancies. Monitor damaged, missing, excess, or slow-moving stock. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of products. Maintain all stock-related documents and records. Coordinate with management regarding stock requirements and shortages. 2. Order Picking, Packing & Fulfillment • • • • • • Supervise the warehouse team in picking and packing customer orders. Ensure the correct product, quantity, and specifications are packed. Check orders before final packing and dispatch. Ensure proper labeling and packaging of shipments. Make sure all orders are processed and packed within the required timeline. Monitor pending orders and ensure timely completion. 13. Warehouse Management • • • • • • Take complete responsibility for day-to-day warehouse operations. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and properly maintained. Maintain proper product placement for easy identification and movement. Ensure safe handling and storage of products. Minimize product damage, wastage, loss, and operational errors. Ensure warehouse procedures and company policies are followed. 4. Team Management • • • • • • Supervise and manage the warehouse staff on a daily basis. Allocate work and responsibilities to team members. Monitor employee productivity and performance. Guide and train team members on packing, stock handling, and warehouse procedures. Maintain discipline and ensure proper work practices. Resolve routine team-related issues and escalate serious matters to management. 5. Attendance Management • • • • • Monitor daily attendance and punctuality of warehouse employees. Maintain attendance records. Track leave, absenteeism, late coming, and overtime. Ensure adequate manpower is available for daily warehouse activities. Report attendance and manpower-related issues to management. 6. Logistics & Dispatch Coordination • • • • • • Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for daily shipments. Ensure packed orders are ready for scheduled pickup. Coordinate with delivery partners and logistics teams regarding dispatches. Follow up on delayed, pending, returned, or failed shipments. Ensure proper dispatch documentation is completed. Communicate dispatch issues to management and take necessary corrective action. 7. Management Coordination & Reporting • • • • • • • • • • • • Provide daily updates to management regarding warehouse activities. Prepare and maintain daily/weekly reports related to: Stock and inventory Inward and outward movements Orders packed Orders dispatched Pending orders Damaged/missing stock Employee attendance Logistics and dispatch status Immediately report major stock discrepancies, delays, damages, or operational issues. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth business operations. 2Required Skills & Qualifications • • • • • • • • • • 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, dispatch, or related operations. Good understanding of warehouse and inventory management. Strong team-handling and leadership skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software. Good organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple activities and work under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Responsible, disciplined, and trustworthy. Ability to work independently and take ownership of warehouse operations. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) The Warehouse In-Charge will be evaluated based on: • • • • • • • • • • Inventory accuracy Order picking and packing accuracy Timely order processing and dispatch Reduction in stock discrepancies and damages Warehouse cleanliness and organization Team productivity Employee attendance and discipline Timely coordination with logistics and dispatch teams Accuracy and timeliness of management reports Overall smooth functioning of warehouse operations Overall Accountability The Warehouse In-Charge will have overall responsibility for the smooth and efficient functioning of the warehouse, including inventory accuracy, stock control, order picking and packing, team management, attendance, warehouse discipline, logistics coordination, dispatch, and timely reporting to management. The candidate is expected to take complete ownership of warehouse operations and ensure that all orders and stock-related activities are completed accurately and on time.
