Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow reports.
• Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
• Monthly closing of books.

GST & Taxation

• Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9.
• GST reconciliation with purchase and sales.
• Handle GST notices and departmental queries.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations.

TDS & Income Tax

• Deduct and deposit TDS.
• File quarterly TDS returns.
• Reconcile Form 26AS and TRACES.
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountant for Income Tax matters.

Banking

• Prepare NEFT/RTGS payment files.
• Vendor payment processing.
• Customer receipt reconciliation.
• LC and BG documentation (preferred).

Accounts Receivable & Payable

• Customer ledger reconciliation.
• Vendor ledger reconciliation.
• Credit control and payment follow-up.
• Ageing analysis of debtors and creditors.

Payroll & HR Support

• Salary processing.
• Statutory deductions.
• Employee reimbursement accounting.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Inventory reconciliation.
• Stock valuation.
• Purchase accounting.
• Cost analysis.

Compliance

• ROC support.
• Professional Tax.
• PF & ESI coordination.
• Audit preparation.
• Statutory record maintenance.

MIS Reporting

• Daily cash position.
• Weekly receivable/payable reports.
• Monthly P&L.
• Balance Sheet support.
• Management dashboards.

Required Skills

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter (Preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Excellent understanding of GST and TDS.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, MIS).
• Experience with banking and payment processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Steel, Building Materials, Manufacturing, or Trading Industry.
• Experience handling turnover above ₹20 Crores.
• Exposure to inventory-based accounting.

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday

9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
