Supply Chain & Dispatch Executive

Location: Suryatex Webbing Factory | Reporting To: Management | Full Time | 9 AM – 6 PM (Flexibility based on weekly needs)

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing the complete movement of goods at our manufacturing facility — from the moment raw materials arrive to the point finished products leave for the customer.

Beyond day-to-day execution, this role also owns the accuracy of our stock data, reviews performance against it, and builds the same discipline in the stores and dispatch team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end dispatch process — billing, loading, transport coordination and documentation
• Receive incoming material deliveries, verify quantities and inspect for quality
• Maintain and update stock records across raw materials, packing materials and finished goods
• Ensure all inventory trackers are updated daily and low stock is flagged promptly
• Handle material movement within the factory — from stores to production to packing to dispatch

Review & Tracking

• Conduct periodic (weekly/monthly) stock reconciliation — physical counts vs. tracker records — and report discrepancies with root cause
• Review dispatch turnaround time, transporter reliability and documentation accuracy; flag recurring issues to Management
• Maintain and review key trackers (stock ageing, low-stock alerts, pending dispatches) to catch problems before they become urgent
• Own a simple weekly summary of stock health and dispatch status for Management review

Training

• Train stores and dispatch floor staff on tracker updates, stock counting discipline and material handling procedures
• Onboard new joiners in the stores/dispatch function on standard operating processes
• Build basic awareness among floor staff on why accurate tracking matters — not just how to do it

Candidate Profile

• Comfortable working on the factory floor and coordinating physical material handling with blue collar workers
• Must have own vehicle for commute between the factory and transporter locations
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to spot discrepancies in stock counts
• Confident in coordinating with transporters, vendors and internal teams
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both management and blue collar workers, and to train and explain processes clearly
• Comfortable reviewing data and flagging patterns, not just recording numbers
• Takes ownership without needing to be reminded

Workplace Environment

Mix of desk work (updating and reviewing trackers, filing documents),

Floor work (counting stock, training staff, supervising loading) and

Field work (coordinating with drivers, visiting transporters, completing shipping and booking formalities and collecting final documents).

Fast-paced on dispatch days — requires physical movement and quick decision making.

Works closely with the production and sales teams.

Working hours: 9 AM to 6 PM with flexibility based on dispatch and operational requirements of the day, week or month.
