Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrician with 6+ years of experience to handle electrical installation, maintenance and site execution activities. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical works and the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and supervise day-to-day electrical installation and maintenance works at project sites.

Install and maintain wiring, conduits, cables, switches, sockets, DBs, lighting fixtures and electrical equipment.

Read and understand basic electrical drawings and layouts.

Carry out electrical wiring for lighting, power points and equipment.

Install and maintain distribution boards, MCBs, RCCBs and other electrical components.

Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and equipment.

Identify electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.

Ensure proper cable routing, termination and dressing.

Assist in electrical testing and commissioning activities.

Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Site Engineers, contractors and other MEP teams.

Ensure electrical works are completed as per approved drawings and project specifications.

Check the quality of electrical materials and ensure proper usage.

Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.

Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure safe working practices at site.

Maintain daily work records and report electrical issues to the concerned Engineer/Supervisor.

Assist in snag rectification and final handover activities.

Support preventive maintenance and ensure minimum breakdowns.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.

Good knowledge of wiring, cabling, DBs, MCBs, RCCBs, lighting and power systems.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults.

Basic understanding of electrical drawings.

Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.

Good teamwork and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and manage site requirements.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.

6+ years of relevant experience in electrical works.

Experience in residential, commercial, construction or interior fit-out projects will be preferred.
