Job Description

A patient caretaker helps sick, elderly, or disabled people with daily tasks, monitors basic health signs, and provides personal and emotional support at home or in a medical facility.



Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Living Support: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and toilet use.
  • Health Tracking: Check vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Medication Support: Give oral medications on time and track dosages.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help patients walk, use a wheelchair, or reposition bedridden clients to prevent bedsores.
  • Hygiene and Comfort: Keep living spaces clean, change bed sheets, and manage care equipment like catheters.
  • Communication: Report health changes to doctors or family members.
  • Companionship: Talk, listen, and offer emotional support
