Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead the procurement function for our plotted development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and managing all materials, services, equipment, and subcontractors required for infrastructure development while ensuring the highest standards of quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies for all plotted development projects.

Source and evaluate vendors for civil works, infrastructure, landscaping, electrical, plumbing, and other project requirements.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve the best commercial outcomes.

Prepare and manage purchase orders, work orders, and procurement documentation.

Coordinate with the project execution team to ensure timely availability of materials and services.

Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement to minimize wastage and excess stock.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Ensure all procured materials meet technical specifications and project quality standards.

Track market trends, material price fluctuations, and identify alternative products and suppliers.

Work closely with finance to manage budgets, payment schedules, and vendor reconciliations.

Maintain procurement records and prepare periodic MIS reports for management.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Experience

8–15 years of procurement experience, preferably in plotted developments, infrastructure, real estate, or civil construction.

Proven experience in vendor development and contract negotiations.

Strong understanding of construction materials and infrastructure works.
