Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled PPM Developer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions. The role involves configuring and customizing PPM platforms to support project planning, portfolio governance, resource management, and financial tracking.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PPM tools, workflow configuration, integrations, and reporting, and will work closely with PMO teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Core PPM Skills
•    Hands-on experience with one or more PPM tools: 
o    OpenText PPM/ ServiceNow PPM / Clarity / Planview / Jira Align / MS Project
•    Strong understanding of: 
o    Project lifecycle management
o    Portfolio governance
o    Resource & financial management

Technical Skills
•    Experience in: 
o    Workflow configuration and automation
o    API development and integrations
o    SQL and database querying
o    Oracle Database 19C (12.2.0.3), JDK 8.18.X
o    OKTA, IAM Integration
•    Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, or tool-specific scripting)
•    Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies

Key Responsibilities
1. PPM Solution Development
•    Design, configure, and customize PPM platforms such as: 
o    OpenText PPM
o    ServiceNow PPM
o    Planview
o    Clarity PPM
o    Jira Align / Advanced Roadmaps
o    MS Project Online / Project for the Web
•    Implement project lifecycle workflows including: 
o    Demand intake
o    Project approvals
o    Portfolio Management and Optimization
•    Configure forms, templates, fields, and business rules.
•    Change requests and cost benefit analysis

2. Workflow & Process Automation
•    Develop and optimize workflows for: 
o    Project governance
o    Resource allocation
o    Financial management processes
•    Automate business processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
•    Ensure alignment with organizational PMO standards.

3. Integration & Data Management
•    Build and maintain integrations between PPM systems and other enterprise tools: 
o    ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
o    HR systems (resource data)
o    Agile tools (Rally/JIRA, Azure DevOps)
•    Develop and manage APIs, data feeds, and ETL processes.
•    Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and synchronization.

4. Reporting & Dashboard Development
•    Create and maintain: 
o    Portfolio dashboards
o    Resource utilization reports
o    Financial tracking (budget vs actuals)
•    Use tools like Power BI, Tableau, or native PPM reporting.
•    Deliver insights to support decision-making and portfolio optimization.

5. Customization & Enhancements
•    Develop custom features or scripts within the PPM platform as required.
•    Enhance system functionality based on user feedback and business needs.
•    Optimize performance and user experience of the PPM tool.

6. Testing & Deployment
•    Perform unit testing, system testing, and deployment validation.
•    Support release management activities including: 
o    Version upgrades
o    Patch deployments
•    Ensure compliance with change management processes.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration
•    Work closely with: 
o    PMO teams
o    Project managers
o    Finance and resource teams
•    Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•    Provide technical guidance and best practices for PPM usage.

8. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
•    Maintain documentation including: 
o    Technical design documents
o    Configuration details
o    User guides and SOPs
•    Support user training and onboarding.
