Job Description

Job Overview
Supports the design and development of software solutions using general domain knowledge and limited business expertise. Contributes to troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing IQVIA platforms to meet evolving user and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of software solutions under defined requirements.
Work across the full application stack, including front‑end user interfaces and back‑end services.
Develop and maintain application features using JavaScript.
Understand and consume key elements of JSON-based data exchanges as needed.
Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other databases to query and extract structured and semi‑structured data stored as JSON.
Troubleshoot code issues and implement fixes to ensure application stability and performance.
Participate in ongoing platform enhancements and feature updates based on user requirements.
Review functional specifications and validation deliverables as assigned.
Develop a foundational understanding of IQVIA and industry quality standards.
Support development projects by following specific technical instructions with limited discretion.

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Typically requires 1 year of relevant software development experience.

Technical Skills

JavaScript – Intermediate proficiency
JSON – Proficient understanding, including key structural elements
Databases – Proficient knowledge of PostgreSQL or any other relational database
Analytics tools – Knowledge preferred (reporting, dashboards, or data analysis tools)
Exposure to AI tools - Co pilot, Cursor AI etc. highly preferable.
