Software Development Engineer

Our tools support key processes such as forecasting, pipeline planning, and launch planning at multiple companies. We believe that forecasts drive decisions and decision influence patients. In helping these companies make better decisions, our software and consulting solutions help improve quality of life for millions of patients taking therapies around the world.

This role is an individual contributor with primary focus on requirements gathering, project planning, web application development & execution, quality testing, and client communication.

Essential Functions

• Designs/develops software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and specialized business experience.
• Works at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development.
• Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within general parameters under regular supervision.
• Supports and often lead projects within own organization with limited complexity, including the development of medium size system components.
• Has strong and broad understanding of quality standards and work requires minimal revision.
• Reviews complex functional specifications and other validation deliverables as assigned.
• Provides peer support and helps on-board new Software Engineers to the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
  Req Or
• 4 to 8 years prior related experience in developing web applications, graduate experience, or demonstrated success in web development with .NET, C# MVC, Java Script and CSHTML
• Experience with web application designing and development (.NET, C#, Java Script and CSHTML) or similar web framework.
• Advanced Proficiency level in C# and .net Programming
• MVC web development
• Build and enhance ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core applications and RESTful APIs
• Asynchronous and Event driven architecture
• Full-stack deployment patterns and infrastructure as code
• Advanced Proficiency level in Java, JavaScript, and CSHTML
• Experience prompting and guiding AI-powered coding agents, with a strong ability to balance automation and human oversight
• Domain Driven Design (DDD) development etc.

Good to have

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and environment configuration
• Familiarity with Azure / AWS deployments and app hosting
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Domain knowledge in Pharma/Life sciences
