Software Test Engineer - Unit/Integration

Experience required : 4 - 7 Years
Education Qualification : B.E. / B Tech / M Tech with Electrical/Electronics(Mandatory) as main discipline. Other discipline shall not apply for this position.
Location- Bangalore,

Key Responsibility:

- Review and analyze software unit design, software architecture and software requirements
- Creation of test specifications for unit and integration tests according to Automotive SPICE and ISO26262
- Implementation, execution and documentation of static and dynamic software unit and software integration tests
- Carrying out error analyses
- Evaluation and assessment of test results
- Development of forward-looking solutions, test strategies and automation solutions for unit and integration tests
- Supporting test management
- Effort estimation of the activities
- Intensive exchange with the entire development team

What we are looking for :
- Experience in testing embedded software
- Experience with Microcontrollers - Aurix Platform preferred
- Experience with Debuggers – UDE Debuggers preferred
- Experience with Tessy
- Experience with ISO26262
- Good knowledge of the programming language C or C++
- Knowledge of test and development tools (Tessy, Enterprise Architect, Polarion, Jira, SVN, Git)
- Good knowledge of English
- Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with teams spread geographically and Agile in approach
- High quality awareness as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Flexibility as well as an independent, proactive way of working

- Expertise in test automation toolchain (Jenkins, continuous integration, unit, module) desirable
- Language knowledge in German

Job Purpose

You will be closely working with a Engineer of Software Testers in Bangalore. This team will be leading the Software Test part of a running Battery Management System project. You will be in close contact with our Software Testing Team located in Darmstadt, Germany. You will be responsible for a well running project, as well as driving improvements throughout the work products you deliver.
