This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

Management Level Definition:

HPE has an exciting opening for a team-oriented, highly effective, and motivated individual in HPE’s Global Proposal Specialist Engineering Team (PSE). PSE Team assists with understanding customers' requirements, bill of materials, responding to technical compliance questionnaires for RFx with respect to HPEN product portfolio.

PSE team is a part of the Sales Operations- Global Bid and Proposal Management Team.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate meetings with AM’s/SEs from PSE team standpoint to understand scope and determine technical requirements.
• Understand the RFP client scope, propose HPEN products/solutions, prepare bill of materials(if required) & work as an individual contributor for customer engagements.
• Provide technical responses in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes.
• Technical SE and trusted advisor for Networking solutions across Data Centre, Campus including Wi-Fi, SDWAN, Cloud, MIST and Aruba Products etc.
• Coordinate inter department teams like PLM, SME, Bid and other stakeholders to understand scope and technical requirements.
• Assure process for data archival of completed RFP’s and availability for future references.
• Communicate effectively across cross functional teams and work with geographically distributed teams building productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
• Participate in process improvement and internal quality review.

What you need to bring:

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of industry experience (preferably in networking/telco industry) with at least 2+ years of Pre-sales experience 
• Bachelors or Masters in EC/CS or equivalent
• Networking Protocols: TCP/UDP/IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS,ARP, VLANS, BNG,PPP/PPPoE, DHCP, L2TP, ACI/ARI, Radius, Diameter, CoA, Traffic Engineering and other Tunneling Technologies, EVPN, VXLAN, BGP,SASE etc
• Knowledge of networking protocols and applications such as Security, Data Centre, Wi-Fi, SDWAN, SDN and Cloud technologies.
• Knowledge in the areas of: networking, cloud orchestration, security, automation, enterprise and campus design/technologies
• Domain Knowledge: Service Provider, Enterprise, Data Center Technologies & Broadband Services (basic understanding will be good)

Preferred Qualifications (not Mandatory): 

• Knowledge of Juniper/Aruba products and solutions is a plus
• Basic experience of working on a proposal automation software is a plus 

Preferred Certifications

• Any Product certifications(e.g JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE) or equivalent(CCNP/CCIE) is a plus.
