Job Description
Cleaning and Room Care
- Make beds and change dirty sheets.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, tubs, sinks, and toilets.
- Dust and polish all furniture and room surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.
- Empty trashcans and replace the liners. [1, 2, 3]
Restocking and Supplies
- Replace used towels and bath mats.
- Restock toiletries like soap, shampoo, and tissue.
- Refill room items like coffee, tea, and cups.
- Check and restock mini-bar items if the hotel offers them. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Guest Service and Reporting
- Greet guests nicely and answer simple questions.
- Bring extra items to rooms like pillows or extra blankets.
- Report broken items or damage to the maintenance team.
- Update the front desk or supervisor when a room is clean and ready. [1, 2, 3, 4]
