Civil Supervisors For Road Projects

1.     Supervise daily road construction activities including earthwork, excavation, embankment, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC and other pavement works.

2.     Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, specifications and project requirements.

3.     Monitor manpower, machinery and material deployment at site.

4.     Check line, level, alignment, slope, camber and thickness of road layers.

5.     Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, subcontractors and equipment operators.

6.     Monitor activities such as soil compaction, grading, spreading, rolling and pavement laying.

7.     Ensure proper utilization and positioning of construction equipment such as excavators, graders, rollers, pavers, dumpers and water tankers.

8.     Conduct routine site inspections and identify construction issues or deviations.

9.     Coordinate with the QA/QC team for field tests, inspections and quality requirements.

10. Maintain daily records of work progress, manpower, materials and equipment.

11. Assist in measurement and preparation of quantity records for completed work.

12. Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the site.

13. Enforce project HSE requirements and immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents.

14. Coordinate with subcontractors and resolve day-to-day site execution issues.

15. Monitor work progress against the planned schedule and report delays to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.

16. Ensure materials are used according to approved specifications and prevent unnecessary wastage.

17. Support the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
