Job Description – Senior Accountant

Location: T. Nagar, Chennai

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Experience Required: Minimum 4,+ Years

Key Responsibilities

 Handle complete accounting activities independently.

 Manage GST filing, GST reconciliation, and related compliance work.

 Handle TDS calculation, filing, and statutory compliance.

 Maintain accounts and records using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

 Manage bank handling activities including reconciliation, cheque processing, and online transactions.

 Handle vendor accounts, payments, follow-ups, and reconciliation.

 Manage labour handling, labour payments, attendance coordination, and related documentation.

 Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS statements.

 Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government departments when required.

 Maintain proper accounting records and ensure timely compliance.

Required Skills

 Strong knowledge in GST and TDS

 Hands-on experience in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

 Good knowledge of bank handling and reconciliation

 Vendor management and labour handling experience

 Good communication and organizational skills

 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate

Profile Candidate should have strong accounting knowledge with experience in GST, TDS, bank handling, vendor management, labour handling, and day-to-day accounts operations.
