Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with modern development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with team members and continuous refinement of software elements are integral parts of the daily workflow, contributing to the overall success of projects and client satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Continuously update knowledge on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance software development processes.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Playwright, Cucumber (Software).
- Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and their integration within software development lifecycles.
- Experience in scripting and developing test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve software defects efficiently.
- Ability to work with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support agile delivery.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
