Position: Electrical Supervisor -Manufacturing co at Perambur

Industry: Flour Mill / Food Manufacturing

Location: Chennai

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience: Relevant experience in manufacturing/industrial electrical maintenance preferred

Age: Maximum 3 years

Mandatory: Valid C Licence

Location Preference: Candidates residing within 15 km of Perambur, Chennai only

Job Summary: We are looking for a technically competent Electrical Supervisor to handle electrical maintenance and ensure the smooth and safe operation of electrical systems and equipment in our flour mill manufacturing facility.

• Key Responsibilities: Supervise and carry out electrical maintenance activities in the plant.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical systems and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electric motors, control panels, distribution panels and transformers.
• Monitor electrical equipment and identify potential breakdowns proactively.
• Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure proper maintenance of electrical wiring, cables, switches, starters and protection systems.
• Maintain electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for timely resolution of electrical issues.
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices in electrical areas.
• Supervise electricians and contract electrical workers, wherever applicable.
• Technical Knowledge Required: Good knowledge of AC/DC motors and motor maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical control panels and distribution panels.
• Knowledge of transformers and electrical protection systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical breakdowns.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive electrical maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and industrial electrical systems.
• Valid C Licence is mandatory.
• Candidate Profile: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Maximum age: Maximum 40 years.
• Valid C Licence.
• Good practical knowledge of motors, panels and transformers.
• Industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Should be willing to work in a flour mill manufacturing environment.
• Only candidates residing within 15 km of Perambur, Chennai, will be considered.
• Good communication, supervisory and problem-solving skills.
