As part of the Technology Consulting -Business Applications - SAP Practice team, we leverage opportunities around digital disruption, new age operating model and best-in-class practices to deliver technology enabled transformation to our clients 

Responsibilities: 

SAP RAR Implementation & Configuration 

• Lead and participate in SAP RAR implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects. 

• Configure SAP RAR components, including:  

• Revenue Contracts 

• Performance Obligations (POBs) 

• Revenue Allocation 

• Event-Based Revenue Recognition 

• Contract Modifications 

• Revenue Adjustments 

• Standalone Selling Price (SSP) determination 

• Design and configure accounting determination and posting logic. 

• Define Revenue Accounting Items (RAIs) and inbound processing. 

Business Process Analysis 

• Gather business requirements from Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Compliance teams. 

• Analyze revenue recognition requirements under IFRS 15 and ASC 606. 

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs. 

• Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and recommend best practices. 

Integration Responsibilities 

• Configure and support integration between SAP RAR and:  

• SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) 

• SAP FI/CO 

• SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) 

• SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) 

• SAP CRM 

• SAP Subscription Order Management 

• SAP S/4HANA 

• Coordinate with middleware and technical teams for interface development. 

Testing & Deployment 

• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs). 

• Develop Test Scripts and Test Scenarios. 

• Execute:  

• Unit Testing 

• SIT (System Integration Testing) 

• UAT (User Acceptance Testing) 

• Support production deployment and hypercare activities. 

Support & Operations 

• Provide L2/L3 production support. 

• Analyze and resolve RAR-related defects and incidents. 

• Monitor revenue recognition postings and reconciliation activities. 

• Support period-end and year-end financial close activities. 

Stakeholder Management 

• Collaborate with:  

• Finance Controllers 

• Revenue Accountants 

• Internal Audit Teams 

• Business Process Owners 

• SAP Technical Teams 

• Conduct workshops and user training sessions.
