As a SME, you will serve as the primary customer-facing representative, ensuring seamless delivery of Finance Operations services while building trusted relationships with customers. You will collaborate closely with internal FinOps teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver operational excellence, resolve customer challenges, and continuously enhance the customer experience.

This role requires strong customer management capabilities, Finance Operations expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements while delivering on key business and operational KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end customer-facing Finance Operations activities, ensuring consistent delivery of service excellence and operational KPIs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, proactively managing relationships and resolving operational issues through close collaboration with internal FinOps teams.
• Drive customer accountability by following up on customer-owned actions, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and minimizing operational delays.
• Leverage Finance Operations expertise to support execution across processes while driving operational efficiency and performance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Understand customer business requirements and translate insights into actionable improvements within the Customer Experience organization.
• Ensure all services are delivered in line with Maersk's operational standards, compliance requirements, and customer commitments.
• Collaborate across multiple products, functions, and regional teams to deliver integrated customer solutions and business outcomes.
• Support commercial growth by contributing to pipeline management, identifying opportunities to enhance customer value, and strengthening customer engagement.
• Monitor operational performance, identify service gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by driving process optimization, standardization, simplification, and effective change management.
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
• Promote a customer-centric culture by aligning operational execution with customer expectations and business objectives.
• Analyze operational metrics and customer feedback to identify trends and recommend sustainable improvements.
• Contribute to a culture of operational excellence by sharing best practices and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in Finance Operations, Customer Experience, Supply Chain.
• Strong understanding of Finance Operations processes with the ability to manage customer interactions effectively.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and customer relationship management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-centric, and matrix organization.
• Experience working with cross-functional and global teams is preferred.
