Two-Wheeler Service Floor In-charge

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management & Performance:
• Lead and mentor the team, allocate work based on skills, monitor performance, conduct training, and provide feedback. 
• Workflow & Process Oversight:
• Coordinate daily operations, monitor work progress in real-time, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. 
• Quality Control:
• Conduct regular checks on completed jobs, ensure proper repairs and maintenance are performed, and strive to minimize repeat customer complaints. 
• Resource & Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage the stock of parts, ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained, and oversee infrastructure upkeep. 
• Safety & Housekeeping:
• Maintain a clean, safe, and disciplined workshop or production environment by enforcing safety policies and maintaining good housekeeping standards. 
• Customer Satisfaction:
• Coordinate with service advisors, address customer concerns, and ensure smooth communication to deliver a positive customer experience. 
• Coordination & Communication:
• Collaborate with other departments, including parts, service advisors, and management, to optimize overall efficiency. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:
• Extensive technical knowledge of automobiles, including diagnosis and repair processes. 
• Leadership & Communication:
• Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team, along with excellent communication skills to interact with technicians and management. 
• Organizational Skills:
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, and time management to effectively manage tasks and resources. 
• Problem-Solving:
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, resolve conflicts among team members, and make sound decisions. 
• Attention to Detail:
• Crucial for monitoring quality, ensuring adherence to procedures, and managing inventory. 
• Experience:
• Several years of experience in the automotive industry, with a preference for hands-on technical experience.
