Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain factory floors, corridors, offices, washrooms, canteen and common areas.
- Sweep, mop and clean designated areas as per the daily housekeeping schedule.
- Clean windows, doors, furniture, workstations and other assigned areas.
- Ensure washrooms are cleaned, sanitized and adequately stocked with required supplies.
- Collect and dispose of waste in designated bins as per factory waste-disposal procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness around production, stores, laboratory and utility areas without interfering with operations.
- Immediately report spills, leakage, damaged flooring, unsafe conditions or other housekeeping hazards to the supervisor.
- Use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants and equipment safely and as instructed.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials in proper condition.
- Follow factory safety rules, PPE requirements and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness during and after shifts, visitors, audits and inspections.
- Support special cleaning activities during audits, shutdowns, maintenance and factory events.
- Follow instructions given by the Housekeeping Supervisor / Admin / Factory In-charge.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality and professional conduct at all times.
