• Job Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role also includes reviewing transactions, reconciling accounts, assisting in audits, and supporting financial analysis for management decision-making.

• Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and company policies.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, and payables.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Guide and support junior accounting staff, if required.
