We are hiring a VSAT Maintenance Engineer for the BBNL/BharatNet Project.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of VSAT systems.
- Dish alignment, antenna inspection and signal optimization.
- Troubleshoot BUC, LNB, modem, RF cables and satellite links.
- Check signal levels, BER and network connectivity.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at remote sites.
- Maintain site visit reports and PM checklists.
- Travel to remote locations as required.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in VSAT/Satellite/RF/Telecom field operations.
- Knowledge of C-Band, Ku-Band and Ka-Band.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and networking.
- Experience with iDirect, Hughes, Gilat or Comtech preferred.
- Candidate should be comfortable working at heights and travelling to field locations.
- GVF/CCNA certification is preferred.
