Job Description
Job Roles for Day Shift
1. Housekeeping Shift SupervisorLeads the housekeeping team, conducts pre-op inspections, assigns tasks, and ensures compliance with SOPs.Coordinates with QA and production supervisors for cleaning priorities.Reviews and signs off on daily cleaning logs and checklists.
2. Crate Washing OperatorResponsible for the full crate washing cycle: knocking off debris, washing, rinsing, sanitizing, and air-drying crates.Ensures proper use of food-grade detergents and sanitizers.Maintains and cleans crate washing equipment at the end of the shift.
3. Dry Zone Cleaning SpecialistVacuums flour and powder dust in mixing and raw material storage areas using HEPA-filter vacuums.Avoids water use in dry zones to prevent paste formation and mold.Uses color-coded tools to prevent cross-contamination.
4. Floor Scrubber OperatorOperates ride-on floor scrubbers to clean warehouse, aisles, storage areas, and loading docks.Ensures all main driveways and high-traffic areas are cleaned according to schedule.
Complete daily cleaning checklists and have the supervisor review and sign off at the end of each shift.
