Accounts Manager

Job Purpose

1.To independently manage and control the company's complete Finance & Accounting function, including accounting, banking, taxation, working capital, receivables, payables, cash-flow management, MIS reporting, statutory compliance and financial controls.

The candidate will be responsible for independent financial decision-making within approved company policies and limits, ensuring accurate accounting, timely statutory compliance, optimum utilization of funds and strong financial discipline across the organization.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Finance & Accounting Management

Independently manage day-to-day Finance & Finalisation of Accounts operations.

Reconciliation’s of salary payables and advances, Loans recovery.

Independently operate and manage Tally Prime accounting software.

Independently handle the ESI, EPF, PT provisions and implementations in HR Dept.

Independently manage GST notices, orders, replies, assessments, and demand proceedings.

Strong knowledge of E-Way Bill provisions, rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.

3. GST, TDS &

Statutory ComplianceEnsure timely compliance with GST, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements.

Review GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, annual GST returns, GST input tax credit, e-invoicing, e-way bills and debit/credit notes.

Review TDS applicability and deductions under applicable sections.

Ensure timely TDS payments and returns.

Reconcile TDS records with books and relevant portals.

Coordinate with CA/Tax Consultant for assessments, notices and statutory matters.

Maintain proper documentation for tax audits and statutory audits.

4. Required Skills

& KnowledgeStrong knowledge of Finalization of Accounting Operations.

Advanced knowledge of Tally Prime Edit log.

Strong knowledge of Banking Operations.

Strong knowledge of GST and TDS.

Strong Knowledge in salary reconciliations/advance/loans (recovery concept)

Strong Knowledge in Provision for taxation, advance tax, Tds receivable,

5.Educational

QualificationMandatory: B. Com / M. Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.

Preferred: CA / CMA / ACCA qualification or equivalent professional exposure with relevant exposure.

6. ExperienceMinimum: 6 years relevant experience.

Preferred: 6 –10 years.

The candidate should have previously handled Finance & Accounts with independent responsibility rather than only performing data-entry/accounting-executive functions.

7. Candidate

ProfileWe are looking for a strong, hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager who can independently take ownership of the Finance Department.

The ideal candidate should be commercially minded, analytical, responsible and capable of making practical financial decisions. The person should not be limited to bookkeeping and should have the ability to understand the complete business cycle from Purchase → Inventory/Project → Sales → Receivables → Banking → Cash Flow → Profitability.

The candidate must be comfortable dealing independently with Management, Banks, Customers, Vendors, Auditors, CA/Tax Consultants and internal departments.
