Cook / Chef

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Café Chef & Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in barista operations, Continental/Western café food, beverages, and basic baking & desserts.

Key Responsibilities☕ Barista & Beverages

• Prepare espresso-based beverages such as Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Mocha, etc.
• Prepare hot and cold beverages, smoothies, milkshakes and thickshakes
• Prepare cold-pressed juices and other fresh beverages
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other café equipment
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portioning

🍕 Continental / Café Food

• Prepare pizzas, wraps, sandwiches and other Continental café items
• Prepare oatmeal, smoothie bowls, yogurt bowls and healthy breakfast items
• Handle food preparation, plating and presentation
• Follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency
• Maintain proper food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organization

🧁 Baking & Desserts

• Experience in preparing muffins, brownies, cookies, cakes and other café desserts
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, measurements and oven operation
• Assist in developing and introducing new dessert items

🧑‍🍳 General Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimize wastage
• Maintain proper stock levels and inform management about shortages
• Work efficiently during busy café hours
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and preparation standards
• Contribute ideas for new menu items and seasonal specials
• Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience as a Barista, Café Chef, Commis Chef or Multi-Cuisine Café Staff
• Good knowledge of Continental/Western café food
• Barista experience is highly preferred
• Baking and dessert preparation experience is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Passion for food, coffee and presentation
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a healthy café concept

Preferred: Candidates with experience in coffee, healthy foods, smoothie bowls, protein meals, baking and modern café menus will be given preference.
