Financial Analyst

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting financial performance analysis, providing financial insights to business stakeholders, forecasting and financial analysis. This is a role that combines analytical rigor, technical accounting knowledge, and stakeholder collaboration.

About the Role:

Financial Analysis & Business Partnering

Support the tracking of financial performance against objectives and targets.

Collaborate with regional and functional stakeholders to provide financial insights that aid decision-making.

Track key financial metrics and flag opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

Support month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Conduct month-close analysis, including flexing and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.

Prepare clear commentary on financial performance for stakeholders.

Analyse variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts and highlight key drivers.

Stakeholder Coordination

Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across functions.

Act as a point of contact between finance and business/operational teams on day-to-day matters.

Support the communication of financial insights to aid business decisions.

Audit & Compliance

Support internal and external audit processes by preparing accurate information and documentation.

Help resolve audit queries in a timely manner and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Support efforts to strengthen financial controls and governance within the regions.

Reporting & Presentations

Prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations for leadership review.

Assist in presenting financial performance, forecasts and analysis to stakeholders and leadership.

Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience across the below skills.
  • Good understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Deep expertise working with ERP system, including subledgers (SAP S/4 HANA preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus
  • Good stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented approach with commercial awareness.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional or regional financial operations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with exposure to audit/compliance processes.
  • Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or regional finance support roles.
  • Exposure to working across multiple regions/business units is a plus.
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively and adaptability to evolving AI-driven ways of working.
