Pharmacist

The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medicines, providing professional guidance to customers, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards and company policies.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDispense medicines accurately against valid prescriptions and as per applicable regulations.
• Verify prescriptions, dosage, drug interactions, and medicine availability.
• Provide appropriate information to customers regarding medicine usage, dosage, precautions, and storage.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of medicines according to required conditions.
• Maintain accurate stock records and monitor stock levels.
• Check batch numbers, expiry dates, MRP, and product condition regularly.
• Identify and segregate near-expiry, expired, damaged, and non-moving stock.
• Coordinate stock replenishment and stock transfers as required.
• Ensure proper billing and maintain accurate pharmacy documentation.
• Support inventory audits and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional standards within the pharmacy.
• Follow company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements, and professional pharmacy standards.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Support sales and customer service initiatives while maintaining ethical pharmacy practices.
• Coordinate with the Store In-Charge and management regarding operational requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and prescription information.
• Required QualificationsD.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
• Valid pharmacist registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council.
• Good knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, dosage forms, and pharmacy operations.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use pharmacy billing/inventory software.
• Required SkillsGood communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
