Job Summary: Corp Match is looking for motivated and technically trained Physical Design Engineers to begin their career in the VLSI/Semiconductor industry. Candidates should have completed formal training in Physical Design and possess a strong understanding of the RTL-to-GDSII implementation flow.

• Key Responsibilities: Understand and work on the complete Physical Design flow.
• Perform Floorplanning and Power Planning.
• Perform Placement and Optimization.
• Work on Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS).
• Perform Routing and Post-Route Optimization.
• Analyse and resolve timing violations.
• Understand Static Timing Analysis (STA) concepts.
• Work on setup-and-hold violation analysis.
• Understand Physical Verification concepts such as DRC and LVS
• Analyse congestion, timing, and power-related issues.
• Support physical design implementation and sign-off activities.

Required Technical Skills: Candidates should know:

• VLSI Physical Design Flow
• RTL-to-GDSII Flow
• Floorplanning
• Power Planning
• Placement
• CTS
• Routing
• Static Timing Analysis (STA)
• Setup & Hold Analysis
• Optimization
• DRC / LVS
• Physical Verification
• Timing Constraints
• Basic Linux / Unix commands
• Basic Scripting – Tcl / Shell / Python is an advantage

Preferred Tool Knowledge: Exposure to any of the following tools will be an advantage:

• Synopsys ICC2
• Synopsys Fusion Compiler
• Cadence Innovus
• Synopsys PrimeTime
• Synopsys Design Compiler
• Eligibility Criteria: B.Tech Candidates2023 B.Tech pass-outs
• Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electrical / VLSI or related specialisation
• Completed Physical Design training
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in VLSI
• M.Tech Candidates2025 M.Tech pass-outs
• VLSI / Microelectronics / Electronics / related specialisation
• Completed or undergone Physical Design training
• Strong fundamentals in VLSI and Physical Design
