Job Description – General Accounts Manager

Position: General Accounts Manager

Location: Sodala, Jaipur

Experience: Minimum 6–7 Years (Manufacturing Industry Experience Mandatory)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented General Accounts Manager to oversee the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, inventory accounting, and costing functions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, inventory management, GST, TDS, financial controls, and statutory compliance. Experience in export documentation will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account finalization.
• Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Ensure accurate accounting of Raw Materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Lead, train, and supervise the accounts team.
• Handle export-related accounting and documentation activities such as export invoices, shipping documents, LUT/Bond, export incentives, and coordination for export compliance (preferred).

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Accounting.
• Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
• Good understanding of Costing, Inventory Accounting, and Stock Reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).
• Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, and finalization of accounts.
• Knowledge of export documentation and export accounting will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter Preferred.
• Additional certifications in Accounting, Taxation, or Export Documentation will be an advantage.

Experience Required

• Minimum 6–7 years of accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing Company.
• Experience in handling a team and managing end-to-end accounting functions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial organizations.
• Strong understanding of inventory, costing, and factory-related accounting processes.
• Knowledge of export documentation and export accounting procedures preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
