Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and versatile Creative Writer, Video Editor & Poster Designer to develop compelling visual and written content for our financial consultancy.

The candidate will be responsible for creative writing, infographic creation, poster and social media design, video editing, content scripting, and coordination of video shoots, including client testimonials, interviews, educational videos, promotional videos, and other marketing content.

The ideal candidate should have strong visual communication skills and the ability to convert financial concepts into simple, attractive, and easy-to-understand content.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Writing & Content Development

• Develop creative and informative content for social media, websites, brochures, advertisements, presentations, and marketing campaigns.

• Write scripts and concepts for reels, educational videos, promotional videos, client testimonials, and interviews.

• Create engaging captions, headlines, taglines, campaign concepts, and storytelling content.

• Simplify complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly communication.

• Proofread and ensure all content is professional, accurate, and aligned with the company's brand guidelines.

2. Infographics & Visual Communication

• Create professional and engaging infographics explaining financial concepts, products, services, market information, investment concepts, processes, and business insights.

• Convert data, statistics, reports, and financial information into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics.

• Develop charts, diagrams, timelines, process flows, comparison graphics, educational illustrations, and data-driven creatives.

• Ensure infographics maintain a balance between accuracy, simplicity, creativity, and visual appeal.

• Work with the finance/consulting team to understand the subject matter before developing financial creatives.

3. Poster & Graphic Design

• Design posters, social media creatives, banners, advertisements, brochures, presentations, event creatives, and promotional materials.

• Develop creative campaigns for financial products, services, awareness initiatives, festivals, events, and company announcements.

• Maintain consistency in brand colours, fonts, layouts, imagery, and overall visual identity.

• Resize and adapt creatives for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, websites, presentations, and print requirements.

4. Video Editing & Content Creation

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, educational videos, testimonials, interviews, and corporate videos.

• Add captions, subtitles, graphics, transitions, music, voiceovers, animations, B-roll, and other required elements.

• Create visually engaging videos that are suitable for digital and social media platforms.

• Repurpose long-form video content into short-form reels and social media clips.

• Stay updated with current video formats, editing styles, and social media trends.

5. Video Shoot & Production Coordination

• Coordinate and manage video shoots for client testimonials, interviews, promotional campaigns, educational content, and corporate videos.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, management, photographers, videographers, and other production teams.

• Prepare shoot requirements, schedules, locations, scripts, questions, shot lists, and other necessary materials.

• Assist in arranging lighting, camera setup, backgrounds, props, branding materials, and other basic production requirements.

• Coordinate with clients to ensure they are comfortable and properly briefed before testimonials and interviews.

• Ensure the required footage, photographs, B-roll, and supporting visuals are captured during each shoot.

• Coordinate post-production requirements and ensure videos are delivered within agreed timelines.

6. Client Testimonials & Corporate Content

• Coordinate the complete creative process for client testimonial videos, from concept and scripting to shoot coordination and final editing.

• Prepare appropriate questions/prompts to help clients share their experiences naturally.

• Create professional testimonial videos that communicate trust, credibility, and client experience.

• Assist in developing employee interviews, expert interviews, educational series, and other corporate content.

7. Social Media Content

• Develop creative content calendars in coordination with the marketing team.

• Produce a consistent flow of posters, infographics, reels, videos, and other social media content.

• Identify relevant trends and creative opportunities for the financial services industry.

• Create content around financial awareness, important financial dates, market developments, company activities, events, and campaigns.

• Ensure all content is aligned with the company's brand image and communication standards.

Required Skills

• Strong creative writing and storytelling skills.

• Strong knowledge of graphic design, infographic design, and video editing.

• Good understanding of visual storytelling and digital content creation.

• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, CapCut, or equivalent software.

• Good knowledge of social media formats, particularly Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

• Ability to transform financial/data-heavy information into attractive infographics.

• Good understanding of photography/video production and basic shooting requirements.

• Strong coordination and communication skills.

• Ability to work with clients and make them comfortable during testimonial/interview shoots.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Diploma 

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in creative content, graphic design, video editing, digital marketing, or media production preferred.

• Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, investment, or consultancy will be an added advantage.

• A strong portfolio of infographics, social media creatives, videos, and other creative work is preferred.
