Operations Manager – Steel Trading & Roofing MaterialsIndustry: Supplying & Trading of Steel Roofing Sheets, Pipes, Steel Flats & Related Products
Location: Kochi
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Salary is not a bar for the right candidate)
Education: Any Degree
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in the same field
Job Description: Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of a steel trading and supplying business dealing with roofing sheets, pipes, steel flats, and related products.
- Key Responsibilities: Manage daily business and operational activities.
- Coordinate sales, purchase, stock, logistics, and delivery operations.
- Handle suppliers, customers, transporters, and other business partners.
- Monitor inventory, stock movement and material availability.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to customers.
- Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor purchase orders, sales orders, dispatches and deliveries.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation and follow-up of orders and payments.
- Lead and supervise operational staff.
- Candidate RequirementsAny Degree.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the steel/roofing sheets/pipes/steel trading or closely related industry.
- Strong knowledge of steel products and market operations.
- Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage teams and handle multiple operational activities.
- Strong knowledge of suppliers, customers, transport and local market operations will be an advantage.
- Salary is not a bar for the right and experienced candidate.
