Education Counsellor

Job Summary:​We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and target-driven Educational Telecaller to join our admissions and student recruitment team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for aspiring students and parents. Your primary responsibility will be to reach out to prospective leads, understand their career aspirations, pitch our academic courses/programs, and guide them smoothly through the enrollment and admission process.

• ​Key Responsibilities:​Lead Engagement & Calling: Actively call a database of prospective students, enquirers, and parents to introduce our educational programs, courses, and placement guarantees.
• ​Academic Counseling: Understand students' educational backgrounds, career interests, and challenges to recommend the most suitable course or program.
• ​Admission Conversion: Drive enrollment targets by effectively handling objections, clearing doubts, and guiding interested students from the enquiry stage to final admission.
• ​Database Management & CRM: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all daily calls, lead statuses, notes, and follow-up schedules in the CRM software or MS Excel.
• ​Rigorous Follow-ups: Establish regular, professional follow-up schedules with warm and hot leads to build trust and encourage campus visits or registrations.
• ​Coordination: Coordinate with the on-campus academic counseling and marketing teams to schedule campus walk-ins, seminar attendances, or spot-admission interviews.
• ​Required Qualifications & Skills:​Education: Minimum 10+2 / Higher Secondary; a Graduate degree in any stream is preferred.
• ​Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must be polite, highly patient, and capable of building quick rapport over the phone.
• ​Languages: Fluency in Bengali and Hindi is essential; working proficiency in English is a strong advantage.
• ​Experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience in tele-calling, inside sales, or customer service (preferably within the Education, EdTech, or Vocational Training sector). Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome.
• ​Tech Savvy: Basic hands-on experience with computers, particularly MS Excel/Google Sheets, and familiarity with tele-calling applications or CRM platforms.
