About the Role

We are looking for a Billing & Estimation Draftsman who can independently handle quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, project billing, rate analysis, measurement, AutoCAD drawings and site-related documentation for interior and construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Interior Works, Aluminium & Glass, UPVC, ACP Cladding, Glazing, False Ceiling, Partition, Railing, Polycarbonate, Structural/Truss Works and other finishing works.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & Quantity Work

Prepare RA Bills, Client Bills and Subcontractor Bills.

Prepare BOQ, Measurement Sheets and Quantity Sheets.

Check site measurements and compare them with approved drawings/BOQ.

Prepare reconciliation of executed quantities.

Track work progress and pending billing quantities.

Verify quantities as per drawings and actual site execution.

Prepare work completion and billing documentation.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers and clients for measurements and billing.

2. Estimation & BOQ

Prepare detailed estimates and BOQs from drawings and specifications.

Calculate quantities for materials and labour.

Prepare rate analysis and basic costing.

Prepare quotations and comparative statements.

Study architectural, structural and interior drawings for quantity take-off.

Identify additional/extra items and prepare variation statements.

Assist in tender estimation and project costing.

3. AutoCAD / Drafting

Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings.

Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings and working drawings.

Prepare detailed drawings for aluminium, glass, ACP, cladding, partitions, ceiling, railing and other interior works.

Take dimensions from site and update drawings accordingly.

Prepare cutting/size details wherever required.

Coordinate drawings with site execution and billing requirements.

4. Project Coordination

Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Purchase and Accounts Teams.

Maintain proper records of measurements, drawings, BOQs and bills.

Check drawings and quantities before execution.

Support the project team in resolving quantity and drawing-related issues.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress and billing reports when required.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. / Any relevant technical qualification.

Candidates with strong practical experience in Billing + Estimation + AutoCAD Drafting may also be considered irrespective of formal qualification.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who can work independently, understand drawings, calculate quantities, prepare estimates and bills, and simultaneously support the drafting requirements of ongoing projects.

Priority will be given to candidates who have experience in both:

Billing + Estimation + AutoCAD Drafting

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience, skills and interview performance.
