Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a versatile and proactive QA Test Engineer with 1+ years of professional experience in software testing. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and performance of a diverse product suite built on modern frameworks including Laravel, PHP, Node.js, React, and Flutter. You will divide your time between executing rigorous manual functional testing and expanding automated regression suites using Selenium with JavaScript. This role offers immense learning potential to test complex web ecosystems and cross-platform mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-Platform Manual Testing: Design and execute functional, regression, and sanity test cases across React/Laravel web applications and Flutter mobile applications.
• Automation Scripting: Write, execute, and maintain stable automated web test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with JavaScript.
• API Validation: Validate RESTful backend APIs built with Node.js and Laravel/PHP to ensure proper data integration and payload validation.
• Defect Life Cycle: Log clear, reproducible bug reports in tracking systems, attaching console logs, network payloads, or device logs where necessary.
• Agile Collaboration: Collaborate actively with developers across multiple squads (Frontend, Backend, Mobile) to clear bugs quickly before releases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional QA engineering experience covering both manual and automated testing workflows.
• Automation Toolkit: Practical, hands-on experience using Selenium with JavaScript for UI testing.
• Technical Breadth: Foundational understanding of client-server architectures, web elements (DOM), and testing applications across different environments.
• Mobile Awareness: Basic understanding of mobile application testing nuances (iOS/Android responsive behaviors or Flutter app layouts).
• Core Practices: Excellent documentation skills for creating step-by-step test scenarios, acceptance criteria validation, and tracking bug statuses.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git workflows for accessing code branches and managing test repositories.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience using Postman or similar tools to test Node.js or Laravel API endpoints.
• Basic experience with mobile test automation tools (like Appium or Flutter Integration Tests).
• Ability to write basic MySQL queries to verify data persistence
