QC Associate

•    Conduct routine in-process and finished-product quality inspections, including visual checks, weight verification, and sensory evaluation, to confirm products meet specifications.

•    Perform and document Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and pre-operational sanitation checks across the production floor.

•    Collect and label product, environmental, and raw material samples for laboratory testing; record and track results.

•    Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Critical Quality Points (CQPs), and record readings (temperature, pH, weight, metal detection, seal integrity, etc.) at required intervals.

•    Complete and maintain accurate quality records, batch documentation, and inspection logs in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

•    Identify and report non-conforming product or process deviations to the QA Supervisor and assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.

•    Support internal audits and third-party audits (e.g., SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000) by maintaining organized, audit-ready documentation.

•    Verify allergen control procedures, label accuracy, and proper product coding/traceability (lot codes, best-by dates).

•    Assist in calibration checks of measuring and testing equipment (scales, thermometers, pH meters, metal detectors).

•    Communicate quality issues clearly to production staff and supervisors, and help enforce food safety culture on the floor.

•    Participate in training on food safety, quality procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and complete required certifications as assigned.

•    Follow all workplace safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
