Role Overview


  • Job Title: Pharmacist / Retail Pharmacist
  • Department: General Medicine Counter
  • Core Goal: Dispense medicines safely, guide patients on proper usage, and maintain stock quality.



Key Responsibilities


  • Dispensing Medications: Check prescriptions from doctors, measure doses accurately, and hand over the right medicines.
  • Patient Counseling: Explain how and when to take drugs, warn about side effects, and answer health questions simply.
  • Inventory Control: Track stock levels, check expiry dates, store products correctly, and reorder low items.
  • Billing and Cash Management: Handle cash or digital payments, generate bills, and maintain daily sales records.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow local drug laws, keep records of restricted drugs, and keep the counter clean.
