Accountant/ Accounts Executive

​Key Responsibilities

​Day-to-Day Financial Operations

​Maintain and update general ledgers, journal entries, and financial logs accurately.

​Process daily sales reports, front desk cash receipts, online payment gateway settlements, and POS transactions.

​Reconcile daily room revenue, food and beverage sales, and extra service charges against property management system (PMS) reports.

​Accounts Receivable & Payable

​Generate and issue invoices for corporate accounts, group bookings, and travel agencies; follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection.

​Verify, process, and schedule payments for vendor invoices, utility bills, inventory purchases, and contractor services.

​Maintain vendor files, resolve billing discrepancies, and monitor cash outflows.

​Bank Reconciliation & Cash Management

​Perform regular bank account reconciliations and monitor daily cash flows.

​Manage petty cash disbursements, audit supporting receipts, and maintain accurate balance logs for property operations.

​Reporting, Tax & Compliance

​Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet).

​Prepare documentation for tax filings (e.g., GST/sales tax, TDS, withholding taxes) in accordance with local regulations.

​Support internal and external audit processes by organizing financial records and supporting documents
