Job Description
The Credit Legal Manager – Title & Document Verification will manage legal scrutiny of property documents for Housing Loans, Loan Against Property, Mortgage Loans and other secured facilities. The Manager will coordinate with Banks, Branch Managers, Credit Managers and other banking officials for smooth processing of assignments. The Manager will review Title Search Reports and legal opinions submitted by empanelled advocates, identify missing links, title defects, encumbrances, litigation, document discrepancies and legal risks, and raise queries for resolution. The Manager will allocate and monitor files, supervise the legal team, maintain office discipline, attendance and proper records, and ensure professional communication with bankers. The Manager will closely monitor pending cases and ensure timely delivery of queries, clarifications and final legal reports to Banks within prescribed TAT, while maintaining accuracy, quality and confidentiality.
