Job Description –Office Cum Secretory Advocate

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Advocate to handle legal matters related to debt recovery, loan defaults, overdue payments, and client disputes. The Advocate will coordinate with clients, borrowers, legal authorities, and the internal recovery team to ensure effective and legally compliant recovery.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle legal matters related to debt recovery and outstanding payments.

- Review loan agreements, invoices, legal notices, and other relevant documents.

- Draft and send legal notices, demand notices, replies, and recovery-related correspondence.

- Coordinate with clients and recovery executives regarding difficult or disputed cases.

- Initiate and manage appropriate legal proceedings on behalf of clients, where authorized.

- Represent the company/client before courts, tribunals, and other legal authorities as required.

- Maintain proper records of legal cases, notices, hearings, and recovery status.

- Conduct legal research relating to loan recovery, contracts, negotiable instruments, and commercial disputes.

- Ensure all recovery activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

- Provide legal advice to the management and recovery team.

- Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, and legal consultants when required.

- Prepare regular reports on ongoing legal cases and recovery matters.

Required Qualifications

- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized institution.

- Valid enrollment with the Bar Council.

- Good knowledge of Indian laws relating to debt recovery and commercial disputes.

- Strong drafting, communication, negotiation, and legal research skills.

- Court-handling experience will be an advantage.

Experience

1–5 years of experience in debt recovery, banking/finance legal matters, civil litigation, or commercial disputes preferred.

Salary

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
