JD for Category Executive

As an Category Executive, you will be an end to end business owner for your category allocated to you.

Responsibilities:

a)      Category Ownership- Top Line, Bottom Line, Revenue Targets.

b)     Margin Negotiation, Support Negotiation. Monitoring stocks and benchmarking pricing

c)      Business Development- Brand, Selection/Assortment Improvement.

d)     Relationship Management- Maintain terms with Key Eternal Stakeholders, Brands & Vendors

e)     Category Understanding- 360 degree view and understanding of the category.

f)       Customer NPS- Manage Customer NPS by delivering high quality product and experience.

g)      Analyse Event and Non-Event Sales Data, Forecast and Plan for Future Demand.

h)     Negotiation with Vendors for Key tie-ups and additional support for business.

i)       Managing monthly Sales Plan. Maintain optimum level of inventory

j)       Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Logistics Stakeholders.

k)      Close BAU and event pricing and support for Deal Of the Day and other weekly sales properties.

l)       Monitoring, and improving operational Matrix- like order to ship, customer promise date, conversion rate, ASP.

Good Fit:

a)      MBA.

b)     2-4-year experience in category/Ecommerce

c)      Strong at data-driven decision making.

d)   Withstanding pressure, flexible and adaptable.

e)     Strong experience of “hands-on” management of tasks and handling competing priorities and stakeholder.

Software Skill required

MS office (MS Excel, PowerPoint)

Understanding of ERP/Seller portal or other likewise software tool

Good communication skills – Brand/Vendor facing role. Ability to hold Brand/Vendor meetings and negotiation
