Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, reliable, and experienced Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for company management, employees, documents, jewellery-related materials, and other authorized business requirements. The driver will be responsible for maintaining the assigned company vehicle, following traffic and company safety rules, and ensuring professional conduct at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly as per assigned duties.
• Transport management, employees, documents, parcels, and other authorized company materials.
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off as per the assigned schedule.
• Follow all traffic rules, speed limits, and road safety regulations.
• Maintain complete confidentiality regarding company information, management movements, clients, and business activities.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, hygienic, and in good working condition.
• Conduct regular checks of fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, engine oil, and other essential vehicle components.
• Immediately report any vehicle fault, accident, damage, or maintenance requirement to the Admin Department.
• Maintain proper records of fuel, servicing, repairs, tolls, parking, and other vehicle-related expenses.
• Ensure all required vehicle documents, including RC, insurance, PUC, and driving licence, are valid and available.
• Assist with loading/unloading of authorized company materials when required.
• Follow the company's vehicle usage and disciplinary policies.
• Avoid unauthorized use of the company vehicle.
• Maintain punctuality, discipline, professional appearance, and courteous behaviour.
• Do not use mobile phones while driving.
• Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or any intoxicating substance.
• Perform other driving or administrative duties assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Valid LMV / applicable driving licence.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Mumbai roads, routes, traffic conditions, and navigation.
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong punctuality and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle company responsibilities responsibly.
• Clean and responsible driving record preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours whenever required by business or management.
