Reports to:

Solutions Support and Delivery Team Leader.

Responsibilities and duties 

You shall:

• Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations.
• Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.
• Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.
• Be responsible for maintenance and product evolution of software applications.

1.       Application Support

1. • Provide level 1/2 technical support for day-to-day application queries and issues
   • Analyze the root cause, resolve the data management issues and propose permanent fix (if applicable).
   • Monitor,manage and solve application problems via the dedicated incident management tool within the OLA.
   • Document issues, observations and outcomes accurately to escalate issues as required in vendors incident management tool and to ensure the resolution within the SLA.
   • Maintain and create documentation for technical troubleshooting and best practices.
   • Maintain understanding of company business processes.

2.       Product Management

2. • Identify, capture and translate business requirements for technical discussion.
   • Prioritise business needs with Business Stakeholders on the release of functionalities.
   • Document the feedback, suggestions and business requirements via the dedicated change management tool.
   • Monitor product development to ensure consistency against business requirements.
   • Perform functional test on product and coordinate User Acceptance Test with business users.

 

Minimum qualifications

3. • Good knowledge of the maritime operational constraints.
   • Fluent English.

Experience                                                                                                              

4. • Must have 3-5 years experience in:
     • product management and application support.
     • driving product and process improvements.
     • providing front end application support.
