NMDPL: Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd. (NMDPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed through a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group. It leads the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, aiming to transform one of Asia’s largest informal settlements into a modern urban hub with sustainable housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.
Job Purpose: The role is responsible for overseeing the execution of media and corporate communication strategies, ensuring content alignment, and curating narratives that support NMDPL’s objectives. This role plays a pivotal role in managing media engagement, ensuring impactful storytelling, and implementing strategic communication plans.
Lead Media and Corporate Communications
Media & Communication Strategy Execution:
Implement and supervise media and corporate communication strategies developed by the Head of Media & Corporate Communication.
Ensure consistent messaging and alignment across various media platforms.
Oversee the execution of communication campaigns tailored for different projects and audiences.
Content Curation & Storytelling:
Curate impactful media stories that align with corporate communication strategies.
Ensure content is strategically crafted to enhance brand positioning and stakeholder engagement.
Develop key narratives to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Oversee the writing and editing of press releases, media statements, and corporate reports.
Media Engagement & Relationship Management:
Manage relationships with journalists, media houses, and influencers to maximize media coverage.
Manage the appointment and oversight of PR agencies and communication vendors to ensure strategic alignment and delivery.
Identify opportunities to leverage media events for positive brand perception.
Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and editorial placements.
Monitor and analyse media coverage, providing strategic insights for improvement.
Crisis Communication & Reputation Management:
Support crisis communication initiatives by preparing key messages and strategic responses.
Identify and mitigate potential risks in media engagement.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure rapid response to reputational threats.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Work Experience (Range of years):
12-15 Years
Preferred Industry:
Experience in media relations, corporate communication, or public affairs.
Strong experience in managing media engagements, content development, and PR campaigns. Prior experience working with political entities, government stakeholders, or advocacy groups is a plus.
